"Rishi Panchami"
Bhadarva Sud Pancham is celebrated as 'Rishi Panchami'. It is also called 'Sama Pancham'. In this festival, all the people pay homage to Vedic Saptarshis Valmiki, Vishwamitra, Vasishta, Gautam, Jamadagni, Kashyap, Atri and Bhardwaj and Dharmaguru.
Also, since all women today eat sage grains called 'Sama', it is also called 'Samapancham'. All women in Gujarat fast today to get rid of the guilt caused by menstruation and other gynecological diseases and spend the day in a tank.
Today oxen do not eat cultivated grains, fruits, vegetables etc. But anything uncultivated is allowed to be eaten. In today's village, there is no work to plow the fields, no cutting. And cow's milk and yoghurt are not sold for "anoja". Do not plow the oxen. Rishi Panchami fairs are held in many places in Gujarat.
